October 9th 2025

 

             The Glencoe Town Board met on Thursday October 9th at 7:30pm at the town hall. All board members were present. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

             The minutes of the September 11th meeting were read and approved; the treasurers’ report was then read and approved.

             Tim from WM Mueller & Sons was in attendance seeking CUP to mine gravel from the pit owned by Jimmy Meyer. Mitch and Kayla Keenan presented some concerns about why this wouldn’t be a safe haul, like the road noting being wide enough and that it would cause too much damage to the road. Tim followed with saying that WM Mueller & Sons would be responsible for maintaining the road during the time of this permit and that calcium chloride would be used for dust control. Supervisor Brian Jungclaus suggested that all that are interested meet at the road in person to see if all parties can find common ground. It was decided that there will be a special meeting on Monday October 13th at 9am on Hilton Ave and that the CUP would be tabled for WM Mueller & Sons. It was also decided that there will be a special meeting on Tuesday October 21st at 7:30pm at the Town Hall to address CUP for WM Mueller & Sons.

 

There being no further business, a motion was made, seconded, and carried upon call to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 8:42 pm.
